1 Dis 1208: Mod The ability and requirement for Users and Transporters to raise issues to be considered by the Allocation of Unidentified Gas Expert as “known” issues Elaine Carr February 2011

2 UNC0343 – consider possible mechanisms and enforcement for further discussion.
Mod 343: It is proposed that all Users and Transporters, who are signatories to the Uniform Network Code; Have the ability to raise issues directly with the AUGE for assessment and inclusion within the AUG Methodology and AUG Table And 2. Places a requirement on parties to bring forward issues that they believe are contributing to unidentified gas. Mechanisms and enforcement Parties are expected to act within the spirit of the Modification therefore they would be obligated, via Code, to bring forward any issues believed to be contributing to unidentified gas. However the following scenarios have been identified as discussion points for potential controls: Control via an SPAA Schedule – however not all parties are signatories to SPAA Incentives rather than penalties (although there should be no need to incentivise) Formal request from the AUGE on a quarterly basis for known issues. Response to be mandatory, even if no new issues have been identified (null response). This may however add a level of admin/cost not previously identified. No formal mechanism for enforcement required.
