The ASVAB Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery
Aptitude: An inherent ability, as for learning; a talent: an aptitude for mathematics February 8th High School Cafeteria Report on the first bell Follow up activities will include an interest survey and personality typing.

The ACT vs the SAT. I recommend the May/June tests. More class time equals more knowledge. Register on-line for both. Remember to report SCHS as your high school and to send your scores to the colleges you are interested in (can send 4). Now the differences: SAT has Math, Reading and an optionalWriting. ACT has Math, English, Reading and Science plus an optional writing.. Additional comparisons on the SAT vs ACT handout.

ACT vs SAT Things to consider: Your college preference
Do the colleges you are considering require it? Your career path It wouldn’t hurt for someone heading into a science related field such as research or medicine to have a science score.

Junior Bio Pages Provides information about your current strengths, interests and activities. Provides information about your future plans. Helps with transcript completion, guidance meetings, recommendation letters. Serves as a mini mock interview. Self-assessment is a critical tool to self - improvement.

Graduation Projects Totally revamped with a new delivery method.
The career work you have already been doing plays a part. In senior year, you will be provided resume and cover letter writing and interview skills lessons and practice. Also during senior year, you will take part in a mock interview here at the school.

The PSAT Results are in. I have included them in your Career Portfolio. Also in your portfolio is your most recent high school transcript. First, Let’s talk transcripts…..
