Recent years have witnessed a steady increase in the popularity of such majors as international finance, finance and accountancy, international trade and business administration. In the meantime, whether to choose good university or a good major has provoked 激起a debate.
3
It is true that graduates from prestigious 有威望的universities are popular in talent markets, so, many students would spare no efforts to be enrolled in good universities. To them, entering a good university means standing on the threshold门槛 of a promising career after graduation. But, a good university can give you confidence as well as much competitive pressure and even the best university has unpopular majors, thus in today's job-hunting society, graduates from these majors could encounter much difficulty in finding a job, let alone a good one, which means they are out of job immediately after graduation. How about a good major? Maybe you are studying in a common university, but your major is of great competition, then do you still need to worry about your future?

A good major can ensure your future success based on your industry勤奋 and mastery of your major. If your major is exclusive to 专有的only several universities, you surely will become a scarce缺乏的,不足的 talent. Do not always pursue a good university; choosing a good major suitable to you is wiser。 Becoming a doctor would be my dream career. I know that it takes a long time to train to be a doctor and that it costs a lot of money to pay for all those years of study. If I become a doctor, than I can make a difference to people’s lives.

I love my family and friend, and knowing that my knowledge and skill would be of great value to them is very important to me. Because of the work they do in treating patients and helping people, doctors are usually well paid and respected in society. They enjoy a high social status. I know it will be challenging, as doctors face many challenges and problem every day, but I will be prepared.

The passage mainly tells us the importance of protecting traditional Chinese culture, which is challenged or facing extinction because of the developing society and changing lifestyle. Besides, China is nationwide sparing no efforts to do it. The protection of national and folk culture is of great significance to Chinese cultural diversity and also to the harmonious development between local economic and social development. It is reported that the Guangdong government pays special attention to protecting Chaoju(潮剧), a local drama born in Chaozhou in the eastern Guangdong province. I hold the view that some measures should be taken to protect traditional culture effectively. To start with, we should make a law to regulate the society’s performance. Besides, we should draw more people’s attention to it, for the more they know about the importance of culture protection, the stronger the support we can get from the public. In a word, it is high time for us to treasure and develop our own valuable culture.
