Athletics offered Guys sports: Football, cheerleading, basketball, track and field, baseball, and golf. Girls sports: Cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and softball.

1-Introduction Welcome to Grove High School! This is the Code of Conduct. We have high expectations from our students and hope to make this a great school year!

2-Part 1:School Rules General Principles
Students are expected at all times to respect others and their belongings Students are expected to abide by all school rules and to respect the school during and after school hours, on and off campus We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior and parents/guardians will be contacted if the issues become a concern School and Class Attendance If students do not attend regularly teachers are required to write an absence report You are to be in homeroom and in your seat when the tardy bell rings, if you are not you will be counted as tardy Any student who is not at school by 11:30 will be counted as absent for the day

3-General Appearance & Personal Belongings
Students are expected to look presentable at school No inappropriate saying, abbreviations, or pictures on shirts, shorts must be dollar bill width above the knee, tank tops are prohibited unless they are three inch with on the shoulders No facial piercings, UNLESS it’s a clear ring. Metal rings are prohibited and if worn you will be asked to remove it If any personal valuable is damaged, broken, or stolen , the school is not responsible.

4-General Rules & Disciplinary System & Procedures
No Loitering, Vandalism, or breaking of property Cheating will not be tolerated in any way Neglect to any school object will not be tolerated Disciplinary Procedures: 1st Offense: Written warning & must be signed by parent/guardian 2nd Offense: Final written warning, must be signed by parent/guardian and a conference with parent/guardian 3rd Offense: Corporal Punishment or Suspension 4th Offense: Student will be asked to leave

5-Suspension or Expelling of a student by the Principal or Deputy Principal as a precautionary measure The Department of Education authorizes the Principal or Deputy Principal the right to suspend or expel a student as a precautionary measure due to appropriate reasoning such as: Alcohol(Not just on campus, but if a student comes to school drunk) Bullying Cheating Criminal Behavior Drugs Fighting Forging Gambling Gangs Graffiti Illegal Weapons Pornography Physical Abuse Racism Sexual Assault Swearing Threatening Truancy Verbal Abuse(Towards both students and teachers)
