1. How to add a youtube clip to your documentary
find a clip on youtube that is relevant to your documentary
then copy the URL (this is on the right-hand side of the clip)
in a NEW TAB go to
at the top of the page you will see this box:
paste your youtube URL into the box and click on ‘download’
you should then see a box like this:
Click here where it says
“download mp4” NOT FLV
And your clip will begin to download

2. How to add a youtube clip to your documentary
when it has finished downloading go to “final cut”
then click on “file>import>files”
your youtube clip
should be in a folder
called “downloads”
to get to this click on
the icon of the house
and then “downloads”
should appear
your clip will be called
“video.mp4”
