1 Career and College Promise (CCP)
For RSHS students

2 Tuition, Fees and Books All college classes taken while in high school are tuition free. RSHS purchases and loans college books to students that must be returned each semester or the student will be charged for the book. RichmondCC covers the cost of fees for all CCP students.

3 Eligibility Be a high school junior or senior and
have an unweighted GPA of 2.8

4 Beginning this fall, college classes will be taken during 1st and 2nd blocks for RSHS students. (Students must take a minimum of two blocks with credit-bearing courses each semester at RSHS) Maximum number of RichmondCC courses taken per semester to go on high school transcript is 4. Grades earned in college courses will be shared with the high school and included on the students high school transcript and count as part of their GPA. If college courses are taken outside of the school day or during summer, the courses will only count as college credit and not go on the high school transcript. To maintain eligibility, a students must maintain a 2.0 college GPA. If a student fails a college course or is a “no show”, the student will not be allowed to take a RichmondCC course the following semester.

English Composition ENG Writing and Inquiry ENG Writing/Research in the Disciplines Humanities/Fine Arts - At least three courses from two different subjects from the following: ART Art Appreciation ENG American Literature I ENG American Literature II ENG British Literature I ENG British Literature II MUS Music Appreciation MUS Introduction to Jazz Social/Behavioral Sciences - At least three courses from at least two different subjects from the following: ECO Principle of Microeconomics ECO Principle of Macroeconomics HIS American History I HIS American History II PHI 240 – Intro to Ethics POL American Government PSY General Psychology SOC Introduction to Sociology Mathematics - At least one course from the following: MAT Quantitative Literacy MAT Statistical Methods I MAT Precalculus Algebra Natural Science - One of the following groups: BIO 111 – General Biology I CHM 151 – General Chemistry Other Required Hours ACA College Transfer Success

7 Transportation will be provided for 1st and 2nd blocks.

We CAN NOT enroll you for college classes without it. Click and complete RSHS registration for sophomores.
