James Heckman - Nobel Prize Winner
‘’Some kids win the lottery at birth; far too many don't - and most people have a hard time catching up over the rest of their lives. Children raised in underprivileged environments are not only much less likely to succeed in school or in society, but they are also much less likely to be healthy adults.’’ ‘’The highest rate of return in early childhood development comes from investing as early as possible, from birth through age five, in underprivileged families. Efforts should focus on the first years for the greatest efficiency and effectiveness.” Clare Family Learning 2019

I didn’t know I am my baby’s first teacher
I didn’t know I am my baby’s first teacher. I was waiting for him to go to school to start learning. I can see now he has already started his learning at home I really loved coming to the classes. I was feeling lonely before and was unsure how to deal with problems. I learned so much from this group I didn’t realise I could do so much to support her development and how important I was as a parent Clare Family Learning 2019
