Finds the value of the derivative at a specific point x = c. Gives the slope of the tangent line to f(x) at x = c. Gives the instantaneous rate of change of the position of a function at time c. (also known as the instantaneous velocity at time c) Find the slope of the tangent line to f(x) at (-2,-16). D.S.
