Some of the common concerns students present are: Academic problems Anxiety Depression Relationship concerns Time management Issues Family concerns Uncertainty about the future Sleeping Difficulties Concentration Difficulties Stress Eating Concerns Self-confidence issues
3
A licensed counselor is available for short-term personal counseling (no more than 4-6 sessions) at no cost to CCGA students enrolled in 4 or more credit hours of study. If necessary, a student will be referred to a community resource for long-term counseling.

Confidentiality All personal counseling is confidential. No information is released to anyone without the students written consent. The only exception to this is when information is revealed that indicates potential harm to oneself or others. The students counseling record is kept separate from their academic record and is destroyed 7 years after the last contact.
