Event
Eagle Challenge is a family of sports that requires navigational skills, Ruck-Sack , Bi-Athlete event, Tug of War using a diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain, and normally moving at speed.
Communication Objectives:
Competitive challenge involves running from point to point. It is move demanding that road running, not only because of the terrain, but because the participant must make decisions, and keep track of the distance covered. Although Eagle Challenge challenges both the mind and the body, the competitor’s ability to think under pressure and make wise decisions is sometimes more important than speed or endurance.
Activities:
There are different types of military events that range from individual courses, to a relay event during the competition. There is Ruck-Sack Cross-Country, Rockwall . With various obstacles.
Key Take-Aways:
Getting the Cadets prepared weeks prior to school starting paid huge dividends in our success for the program at the meet. Which led to a larger scale of younger Cadets gaining much needed experience for our future competitions for SY The essential tool to our program success will be our underclassmen providing stability to the program for years to come. The Falcon Battalion took home (5) first place trophy’s out of (7) and was the overall Champion of the New Caney Eagle Challenge Competition 2016.
