Feedback, giving next steps and how to improve work, is essential to help children understand where they are and what they need to do in order to progress.

4. Weekly timetables 5 hours of numeracy/maths each week
5 hours of literacy, consisting of core novels, writing, VCOP, handwriting and spelling
HWB: 2 hours of P.E weekly and a focus on class ethos and friendship in circle time
Throughout the course of the year, pupils will receive a variety of experiences in the Expressive arts, both with specialists and with the class teacher
Pupils will continue to learn French this year, incorporating this into every day conversation

Purpose:
To ensure children have practise of key skills which will enhance their learning.
