2. Plate Tectonics Booklet

3. To make your booklet, start with two pieces of construction paper.

4. Fold them in half like a hamburger.

5. Make a little mark on the folded side of each piece of paper about this far from the end on each side.

6. On one of them cut a sliver off of the folded side on the inside of the two marks.

7. It will look like this
when you unfold it.

8. On the other paper cut a sliver off of the folded side on the outside of the two marks.

9. This one will look like this
when you unfold it.

10. Fold the one with the slits on the outside like this,
but don’t crease it.

11. Place the folded one inside the opening of the other one like this.

12. Straighten out the inside piece and let the pieces fit together at the top and the bottom.

13. Place the folded one inside the opening of the other one like this.
On the front write “Plate Tectonics Booklet by” and your first and last name.

14. On the inside glue or tape one set of cards on each page
On the inside glue or tape one set of cards on each page. (There will be a page left over.) Each set will include: • The name of a type of plate boundary. • A picture that goes with that type of plate boundary and • A description that goes with that type of plate boundary.
