1. A&P Assessment Test No longer any pre-reqs for BIOL 2401
A&P Assessment Test was developed due to concerns regarding student success
This is not the same test previously offered to students who
All students wanting to enroll in BIOL 2401 must take the Assessment Test and pass with 70% or higher
This includes students who successfully pass BIOL 1406
This is similar to what Austin Community College requires
Assessment Test requirement goes into effect Fall of 2019
Assessment Test goes live March 1st

3. Implementation Logistics of test implementation
platform for the test (Pearson’s MyLabsPlus)
interface between Pearson and Banner (in development)
score shows up in Banner within 24 hours (in development)
single log in using passwords rather than access codes
students pay for test and register for test dates via Cougar MarketPlace (in development)
Testing Centers cannot handle anticipated number of students so testing will be en masse with proctors
