More was a lawyer and an advisor to the king. More was a devout Catholic and did not approve of Henry VIII’s departure from the church in order to marry Anne Boleyn. More was executed in 1535, a martyr for his religion. More was canonized by Pope Pius XI in 1935.

Pun on Greek words for “no place” and “good place.” Fictional account of a traveler named Hytholodaeus (Greek for “educated in nonsense.”) Was he serious? Or making another kind of comment? Many ideas do not fit with his personal beliefs.
