Agricultural Results of 5 year plan
All farmers forced onto state-owned farms or onto collectives, large, peasant owned farms. Those who resisted were arrested or murdered. Kulaks- Entire class of wealthy farmers murdered by Stalin. Terror Famine-5-8 million people starved in Ukraine alone.

Soviet Propaganda and Censorship
Cult of Personality-Stalin is presented as a Godlike figure. Constant bombardment of Communist virtues, successes, and Capitalism’s failures. All art, news, literature, and music was screened for anti-Soviet/Stalin sentiment.

Benefits of Soviet Rule
Free school and universities Taught communist values Free health care Cheap housing and entertainment Lots of bread, scarce meat and fruits and veggies. Women had full equality. Doctors, engineers, scientists.
