To live by faith is to fully rely upon God and to obey His will (Jn. 3:36; Acts 5:29; Heb. 11) “He that believeth (pisteuo) on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not (apeitheo) on the son shall not see life” (Jn. 3:36) “Believeth” (Gr.-pisteuo) “a conviction, full of joyful trust, that Jesus is the Messiah-the divinely appointed author of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God, conjoined with obedience to Christ (1958, 511). Apeitheo is defined by Strong’s as ‘does not obey’…rendered such by ESV and ASV

A duty to be performed (Acts 5:29; 1 Sam. 15:22ff)
A debt to be paid (Acts 5:30-31; 1 Jn. 4:19; Jn. 14:15)
A delight to be preferred (Acts 5:41; 1 Jn. 5:3)
A decision to be practiced (Acts 5:21; Rom. 13:8)
WE HAVE A CHOICE!!!
