3 Facebook is an interactive way to promote an event
The Facebook page for the venue posts information about the venue and upcoming events.

4 The Facebook venue page has a link to the event
It invites people to join the Facebook page to receive announcements about events and to post comments and photos.

5 LinkedIn is good for business events
On the event web page, you can click the LinkedIn symbol and choose to publish the event on your own LinkedIn page. Twitter symbol FaceBook symbol LinkedIn symbol

6 Google+ now has Google+ Events
If you have a Google+ profile, you can create an event, send invitations, and have a page where everyone can post event photos and comments. You create an event by filling in key information and choosing a theme.

7 Attendees and event promoters use Twitter
Click the link in the tweet to reach info about an event

8 Snapchat, Instagram, and Vine promote events via photos and/or videos
These apps are also useful at the event to capture the experience.

9 Pinterest and YouTube can be promotional tools
Display your skills and successful events to build awareness and bring in new clients.

They feature guests’ social media posts. They use social media to track guests’ reactions.
