3. Formulas and observations
-Subtotal X (Tax)= Total
-Total X .20 (Gratuity)= Tip
Total and the subtotal are two very different things
To find 20% tip you can just find 10% and then multiply by 2
The tax rate is only 8.25% of the subtotal not the plain total
