Ice Age Ice Age – A long period in the past that lasted for millions of years. Glaciers covered much of the Earth.

Specialize Specialize - To train to do a particular kind of work (artist, blacksmith, carpenter, etc.).

Paleolithic Era Paleolithic Era – Earliest period of human culture, beginning 2 million years ago and lasting until 8,000 B.C. Also known as the (Old Stone Age).

Neolithic Era Neolithic Era – A period in history that began in 8,000 B.C. in which people first lived and farmed in communities. Also known as the (New Stone Age).
