2 Teacher’s Online Management System Tutorial
Throughout the duration of each school semester, teachers at Changzhou University are required to submit teaching materials and grading results into the school’s online database. This can be done rather simply from one’s own computer, but as the online system is written completely in Chinese, it can be an intimidating task for non-Chinese speakers.

This tutorial has been created to help guide foreign teachers through the step-by-step process of submitting the necessary materials into the online database. Please be sure to view this tutorial as a slide show, as the animations will help to clearly outline each step in the process.

Begin by navigating to CCZU’s Online System in your computer’s internet browser via the following URL:

5 You will be brought to the following page where you must enter your login information.
Your username and password should have been provided by Ms Xu Min, the academic secretary of SIEE Once your username and password have been entered correctly, press the “LOGIN” button to proceed.

6 The website will indicated that your log in has been completed successfully. At this point, you should follow the indicated link to proceed to the Education Management System.

This is the main navigational page of the Online Management System. From here there is a variety of information that teachers may choose to access. As this tutorial is concerned with the matter of submitting the required teaching materials, we will only be focusing on a small part of the overall system.

8 System Navigation 1) Weekly Teaching Timetable 2) Class Registration Lists 3) Lesson Plan Submission (Submit this at the beginning of each sememster) 4) Grade & Paper Analysis Input (put in information here at the beginning and in the end of each semester) This is the main system navigation menu. To see students’ namelist for each class, press the corresponding buttons there. Class List Return to Main Menu

13 Press the “OK” button here and then go back by pressing this button.

14 Press one of these buttons then to put in specific information of the lesson plan of each class.
Note: To the same courses that have the same lesson plan, you only need to put it in once and then you can copy it later. Class Outline

15 Lesson plans are divided by two periods
Lesson plans are divided by two periods. You need to put in your plan for each two periods. Press one of these buttons to put in specific information. Then press “OK” here.

17 If you don’t have so many periods for this semester you can press these buttons to cancel some. After you have finished putting in the plan, press this button to submit it.

18 To the class that share the same lesson plan with other classes, press one of these buttons directly at the very beginning.

19 Press this button to choose from the existing lesson plans.
