Early Years Babies are born ready to learn, and their brains develop through use. A child learns best by actively engaging with their environment. observing things listening to sounds exploring asking questions experimenting with textures doing things that stimulate all of their senses

Early years LIP MOVEMENT
A team of American psychologists carried out an experiment , testing babies’ powers of visual discrimination . English-speaking babies were shown silent video clips, in which the speakers read the same sentence in English and French. RESULT: They had noticed the language change, based only on lip movement.

Critical age of learning
Studies have shown that babies possess this ability at 4 to 6 months of age but lose it at the eighth month. It is believed that infants are initially sensitive to the properties of a wide range of languages. But without continued exposure, their sensitivities soon narrow to the range that is more relevant for their own language.
