Our rooms can be chilly, and students will no longer be allowed to wear non uniform long sleeve shirts or jackets in the classroom. Please make sure that your child is in full uniform before they leave the house in the morning. Thanks for your support in this matter. **Quick Tip** What We Have Been Up To! Quiz your child in the car for an easy way to keep their multiplication skills memorized! The Denver Public Library can help find interesting, high-engagement books for your children. Consider taking them to your local branch for a weekend visit. Parents who have middle school students, you can find the MS newsletter on the website. Math Reading Writing This month we will be focusing on fractions. Point out any fractions that you see at home or at the store to your child, and talk about what they mean. We are starting our next class novel this week. We will be reading Wonder Ask your child about it! What novel can you read at home as a family? We have been working on writing five paragraph opinion essays, so watch out for their new expert skills of persuasion! “It doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.” –Confucius
