1. To identify weakness in all students and take remedial steps
Coordinator Mr. Nimai Charan Patel, Induction Coordinator Mr. Dayanidhi Jena, HOD Basic Science & Humanities Current Activities Year Conducted 21 days Induction Training Programme for 1st Semester Students from to (including the proficiency classes for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Extra Curricular Activities). 80% students participated in the Induction Training Program. Future Activities Formation of Committee of Planned Test & Remedial/Extra Classes for 2nd Semester Students at the beginning of i.e. during to Test & Conduct 21 days Induction Training Program for 1st Semester students in the month of Aug-Sep 2019. Estimated Expenditure: 1,20,000.00

2. To improve language competency, soft skills and confidence levels
Coordinator Mukesh Bathre, TEQIP-III Coordinator Mr. Dayanidhi Jena, HOD Basic Science & Humanities Current Activities 1st Year : English Communication Lab (1st Sem) and Professional Ethics (2nd Sem) subject are the part of main syllabus as per the University Curriculum. 4th Year: Seminar is the part of main syllabus. Future Activities To Conduct training programs to Faculty Members basically for 1st Year/2nd Year for Teaching Learning Techniques. 2nd Year & 3rd Year: Planning to include separate English, GD, Seminar Classes in regular Academic Time-Table). Estimated Expenditure: 2,00,000.00

3. To improve non-cognitive and soft skills including communication and presentation skills through their wide use in curricula / project based work, and where needed, to provide special skills training to students with priority to the weak students Coordinator Dr. Sangram Keshori Mohapatra, PIC T&P Cell Current Activities Employability Skill Test for almost all four years students (Approximate Total Students 1350) already conducted from Aug 24th -29th 2018. Employability Skill Training Classes (200hrs) for 3rd & 4th Year (Total Students 871) to be conducted during Jan, 2019 to Mar, 2019 by Empanelled Service Provider “Ethnus Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., Bengalore. Future Activities Planning to conduct the Employability Skill Training Classes for the weaker students who scores less marks after complete training program. Estimated Expenditure: 4,00,000.00

4. Give under-qualified teachers priority in opportunities to upgrade
Their domain knowledge Coordinator HODs of Respective Departments Current Activities 10 Nos of faculties are already pursuing Ph D under Qualification Upgradation Scheme. Promoting faculties to enroll in Part-time PhD. This year 03 faculties enrolled for part-time Ph D. Faculties are deputed to attend seminars, conferences and presentation of research papers in the current year. Faculties attended Professional Development Training Program under TEQIP-III. Conducted 03 National Conferences, 01 International Conference and 01 National Seminar in last two years. Future Activities Planning to conduct 02 more National/International Conference in the coming semester. Planning to motivate faculties for Registration and Completion of SWAYAM Online Courses & Certification. Estimated Expenditure: 15,00, (Part of Quarterly Action Plan)

Training of teachers in subject matter and pedagogy, particularly to improve the performance of weak students/transgender students Coordinator HODs of Respective Departments Current Activities Year Total 18 Nos of faculties attended the workshops on subjects and pedagogy. 04 workshops & training programs and 04 experts talks already conducted for students. 03 Workshop conducted for faculty members in the institute by outside experts Future Activities Planning to conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by external expert for all teachers to understand the skills required to effectively teach to different learning styles. Prepare Faculty Development Plan using identified providers for Pedagogy (IITs) or National Training Calendar for subject training. Estimated Expenditure: 3,00,000.00

6. Make campuses physically and socially gender-friendly, including
provisions for students of transgender; especially provide adequate and suitable facilities to women students and faculty Coordinator Dr. Sangram Keshori Mohapatra, PIC T&P Cell Chairman of Woman Grievance Cell Current Activities Separate toilets for boys and girls are already available. Common rooms for female faculty and female students are already identified. The institute follows the guidelines and policies of Central/State Government on discrimination and harassment and it includes protections for gender identity and expression. Woman Grievance Committee has been already constituted. Future Activities Planning to conduct the awareness by incorporating gender identity topics into orientation sessions for new students, staff, and faculty. Publish and Notify online campus resource guide for new and prospective female and trans students. Regularly sponsor female and non-binary trans speakers and performers, etc. Counselling facility to students (Boys & Girls) Separately. Estimated Expenditure: 2,00,000.00

9. Provide appropriate infrastructure for physically challenged students
Coordinator Mr. Alok Patel, HOD Civil Current Activities Facilities for PD Category are partially available in the academic and non-academic blocks. Future Activities Planning to Constitute a committee for taking decisions to provide the facilities for PD Category. Estimated Expenditure: 8,00,000.00

10. Special efforts for training/ internship/ placement of weak students
Coordinator Dr. Sangram Keshori Mohapatra, PIC T&P Cell Mr. Soumya Ranjan Mallick, PIC Alumni Cell Current Activities Almost all Students participating in 03 Mandatory Internship Program during their Degree Course. Organize alumni meet every year. Future Activities Planning to increase the placement % which is very poor in our institute. Constitute Industry‐Institute Partnership Promotion Cells. Planning to expand the alumni network by finding the alumni members in reputed firms. Estimated Expenditure: 2,00,000.00

11. A two-tier grievance redress mechanism (GRM)
Coordinator Mr. S Naidu Velagala, EAP Coordinator Current Activities Grievance Committees have been formed and circulated among students for information. Woman Grievance Cell Institutional Student Grievance Cell Departmental Student Grievance Cell (01 Committees for each department) Published and notified the Name, Address and Contact Details of the Committee on Notice Board and Institution Website. Future Activities Planning to implement online GRM. Estimated Expenditure: 4,00,000.00

12. Ensure that institutional mechanisms to protect and address the
Needs and concerns of women students are established Activity/Action Required Constitute a gender committee at the institution Circulate hotline (telephone) and address where students/faculty may lodge issues Counselling to needy female students / staff Coordinator Chairman of Woman Grievance Cell Current Activities Woman Grievance Cell has been formed and circulated among students for information. Planning to appoint cousellor for Boys and Girls students.

14. Peer Learning Groups of students Activity/Action Required
Develop Peer Learning Groups of students (from diverse academic backgrounds/levels/genders/social background), for joint study and joint projects (faculty to be the resource person) Coordinator Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Das, PIC Academic Current Activities Various peer learning groups have been already formed by the students and faculties in all the departments. 15. Appointing Student Mentors and Faculty Advisers for Students Activity/Action Required Develop Peer Learning Groups of students (from diverse academic backgrounds/levels/genders/social background), for joint study and joint projects (faculty to be the resource person) Coordinator Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Das, PIC Academic Current Activities Appointed Students Mentor for First Year Students. Planning to appoint mentors and advisers for students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th years.
