3 Location Salary To have this job, you must live near a state or national park. Parks are fairly ubiquitous throughout the United States, so you can live almost anywhere. The average yearly salary for a park ranger is $42,000 to $50,999 depending on their level of education and skill, the type of the park, and the location.

4 On The Job The job requires work both inside and outside in all conditions. It requires some physical labor. Some duties are Enforcing park regulations Maintaining park grounds Assisting park visitors Patrolling Offering conservation and recreation activities
