Schurz was born on March 2 nd, 1829 and died on May 14 th 1906. He came to America from Germany with his wife in 1852, and they moved to Wisconsin. Then, in 1881, he moved to New York City. Many people like Carl Schurz Park for many different reasons. To start off, people have said that its Soo much better than Central Park, and its One of my favorite parks in NYC, and its The best park in the city. It seems pretty good, right? But why? According to a www.yelp.com review, people like the park because the many little places and nooks to have picnics, and the fact that its very clean. Also, its very dog friendly. Examples of this are the areas to clean off your dog, and the provided bags to pick up after your dog with. People also tend to like the separate dog runs, for little dogs and big dogs, and they say its very safe. They like the seating for humans that is very common and easy to find in the whole entire park, and the fact that its not very busy, and its very relaxing and people have even said that its quieter than Central Park! Plus, theres an amazing pizzeria five minutes away from the park. The views of the East river are great, and these gardens have beautiful flowers, and gardens. The list of why people dont like Carl Schurz Park is very short. The only reasons that people dont like Carl Schurz Park is that there arent near bathrooms close to the dog runs, and that the concrete ground gets hot during the summer. One of the reasons that so many people go to Carl Schurz Park is that it appeals to all ages. The playground for little kids, and then the Catbird playground for older kids. The promenade for walking, biking and plenty of other things, for all ages. The basketball courts for older and younger people, and the gardens for adults. It even appeals to animals! The trees are great for birds and squirrels, and if humans were dogs, we would be happy to go to the Carl Schurz dog run. Overall, Carl Schurz is a great park that can be used by everyone.
