Generic Name: Chemical name for the drug
Usually appears directly under the trade name on a prescription bottle

5. More Terms Side Effect: Undesirable action of a medication
Examples: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, itching, dry mouth, insomnia, etc.
Adverse Reaction: More severe reaction to a drug
Anaphylactic Shock: airway swells preventing breathing. Pt will die if not treated
