3. ALPHA & OMEGA The Beginning and the End
Mission:
To travel to a high altitude and determine if it is in fact possible to take high resolution photographs.
This will be achieved using photodiodes mounted on a boom to quantitatively measure sky brightness and the amount of ultraviolet and infrared radiation present at relative altitudes of or below 100,000 ft.
The digital camera provided in the kit will also be used to capture imagery of the horizon in order to compare the relative, visible brightness with that of our findings from the photodiodes.
