Physical Tabernacle and Temple (Matthew 2:4; 21:12-13)
The nation of Israel (Hebrews 3:5; Numbers 12:7)
Redeemed, born again believers (1 Peter 1:18, 23; 2:5)
The church of God and Christ (1Timothy 3:15)

4. Over which house is Christ the Son?
“…whose house we are” (Hebrews 3:6)
Who are members of this household of God?
“holy brethren” (Hebrews 3:1; 2:11-12; 1 Peter 1:14-15)
“partakers of a heavenly calling”
“partakers of Christ” (Hebrews 3:14)

5. Over which house is Christ the Son?
To be a companion of Jesus, a believer must:
Learn Christ’s way (Ephesians 4:20)
Empty himself like Christ (Philippians 2:5, 7)
Abide in Christ’s teaching (2 John 9)
Be His disciple by continuing in His word (John 8:31)

6. Over which house is Christ the Son?
“…whose house we are” (Hebrews 3:6)

7. God built His house for Himself to dwell within His people.
God all along has desired oneness with His image-bearers.
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

8. God built His house for Himself to dwell within His people.
God all along has desired oneness with His image-bearers (John 17:20-21).
His house is founded upon the fellowship of holiness through redemption and transformation in Christ Jesus.
