Organizational Structure Downtown Brampton BIA Overview: To promote the commercial area as a vibrant business and shopping district through the use of promotional activities such as special events, advertising, and beautification programs. We strive to keep the area foremost in the public’s mind as an attractive, pleasant place to shop, to be entertained, to work, and to live. 3 2016 Achievements New board of directors & executive director assumed role in April New logo, new brand, new street banners New partnerships with the City of Brampton – approximately $150,000 in-kind services to the BIA Bike to Work Day & Meet the Beat in Downtown Brampton BIA brought back Classic Cars & Legendary Stars with added programming Friday evening and Saturday evening. Laneway parties Live Art Competition & A Night in the Lane A Taste of Downtown Brampton, Christmas Market – extended weekends November 28, 2016

10 Marketing Partnership
Destination Downtown Brampton Brand Campaign BIA contribution - $40,000, City of Brampton contribution - $40,000 BIA and City to work collaboratively to promote the downtown core as a key attraction and destination in the City of Brampton This partnership with leverage dollars to build a stronger voice and presence for the downtown core. Both the BIA and City of Brampton are eager to see this project be implemented to maximize the impact of the Marketing Partnership November 28, 2016

12 Revenues Board approved budget increase for 2017 to be 2%
Operational Grant request to the City of Brampton – $10,812 for Rent Relief Marketing Partnership with the City of Brampton – $40,000 Other Revenues: Sponsorship – Sponsorship Package Contribution from Reserve Fund for 2017& 2018 & 2019 to keep the BIA budget in line with a 2% increase November 28, 2016
