3 Sins Against Nature Romans 1
UNITED NATIONS — With a passionate call from Pope Francis to choose environmental justice over a “boundless thirst for power and material prosperity,” world leaders on Friday adopted an ambitious agenda to reset their own priorities, from ending hunger to protecting forests to ensuring quality education for all.

4 What is a Sin Against Nature?
Harming the environment? To fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths. All the days of its desolation it kept sabbath until seventy years were complete. 2 Chronicles 36:21 God demanded of Israel a Sababth year of rest for the land. It seems that no rest had ever been given, thus necessitating 70 years (for a period of 490 years)

5 What is a Sin Against Nature?
Violating something that is part of the natural order It is a sin that can be seen in creation We can consider terms like: Natural affection Natural purpose A sin against nature is something that violates the way nature intended for something to work

Romans 1:18-32 Atheism – Acts 14:17, Acts 17:27-28 Ac 14:16 "In the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways; 17 and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.“ Ac 17:27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, 'For we also are His children.'

10 It is a Sin Against Nature
Romans 1:18-32 Atheism – Acts 14:17, Acts 17:27-28 Idolatry / evolution – Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 45:18 Homosexuality – Leviticus 18:22 Gender roles – I Corinthians 11:8-14 1Co 11:8 For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man; 9 for indeed man was not created for the woman's sake, but woman for the man's sake.10 Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.11 However, in the Lord, neither is woman independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.12 For as the woman originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things originate from God.13 Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,

11 It is a Sin Against Nature
Romans 1:18-32 Atheism – Acts 14:17, Acts 17:27-28 Idolatry / evolution – Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 45:18 Homosexuality – Leviticus 18:22 Gender roles – I Corinthians 11:8-14 Abortion – I Kings 3:16-27 1Ki 3:16 ¶ Then two women who were harlots came to the king and stood before him.17 The one woman said, "Oh, my lord, this woman and I live in the same house; and I gave birth to a child while she was in the house. 18 "It happened on the third day after I gave birth, that this woman also gave birth to a child, and we were together. There was no stranger with us in the house, only the two of us in the house. 19 "This woman's son died in the night, because she lay on it. 20 "So she arose in the middle of the night and took my son from beside me while your maidservant slept, and laid him in her bosom, and laid her dead son in my bosom. 21 "When I rose in the morning to nurse my son, behold, he was dead; but when I looked at him carefully in the morning, behold, he was not my son, whom I had borne." 22 Then the other woman said, "No! For the living one is my son, and the dead one is your son." But the first woman said, "No! For the dead one is your son, and the living one is my son." Thus they spoke before the king. 23 Then the king said, "The one says, 'This is my son who is living, and your son is the dead one'; and the other says, 'No! For your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.'" 24 The king said, "Get me a sword." So they brought a sword before the king. 25 The king said, "Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one and half to the other." 26 Then the woman whose child was the living one spoke to the king, for she was deeply stirred over her son and said, "Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him." But the other said, "He shall be neither mine nor yours; divide him!" 27 Then the king said, "Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him. She is his mother."
