Luke 1:57-80

He came to deliver me “…for He has visited and redeemed His people, and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David…that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, to perform the mercy promised to our fathers…to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.” Luke 1:68-75

“Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” Mark 1:23-25

“This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.” Acts 7:35
