The thing about writing is that it is important in helping a person to communicate in a better and clearer way, as well as more directly and concisely. When teachers have students practice writing it is because it is for their own good, whether they realize it or not. Teachers will come up with writing assignments that will help students learn to say as much as possible and as thoroughly as possible without using too many words. That is one of the ways in which writing helps you to think more clearly and directly. Monday Challenge
