7. How to find one?
You will need an account to start looking for apprenticeships. Once you have set one up you can create an account, search for vacancies and receive an alert every time a new job is added. This is the real advantage to using the following website so MAKE USE OF IT!! Not all vacancies will be on the following website but at least 50% will. Use other sources as well like local newspapers, Jobcentre website and places like Indeed.com, Monster.com, Hayes.co.uk and Reed.co.uk

9. What if I can’t find an Apprenticeship?
Its important to have a ‘back up’ plan
Consider applying to full time college courses
Remember courses are from 16 hours per week and will include practical elements too
If employers do have a vacancy they may approach local colleges for suitable students to apply
Its possible to swap from a full time college course to an apprenticeship if you find a place
