5 How to Reach the Lost MOTIVATION: Why you will do it MESSAGE: What you will say Motivation is perhaps what is missing the most in our personal evangelism. Today we will focus in on the three things we need to be motivated to reach the lost. We need all three, but we will see an example of a succesful evangelist with only one of these qualities, because…….. The premise of the lesson is that the more we understand our salvation is not corporate, but individual, the more we realize that our works (specificially to these two lessons, evangelism) are better accomplished personally. This is not to say that the church lacks the authority for evangelism, but that the individual is better equipped and more directed to this work than the church. The church prepares the individual christian for evangelism (Eph 4), not vice versa
