Since Time Immemorial, First Peoples have prospered and continue to exist alongside nature in this world The land provided food, medicines, tools, clothing, and shelter Traditional cultural knowledge provided an ability to utilize animal parts, stones and natural materials to construct tools, survive in extreme conditions, travel long distances and make medicines This knowledge was acquired over time and transmitted through oral tradition of storytelling, dance, language and personal experience
