2. James 4:1
“Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?”

3. GRACE of God to confront Sin in three areas:
1. In our lives – “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;” – Philp. 2:12
2. Among us (believers) – “Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.” – Luke 17:3
3. In SINNERS life – “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” – Matt 28:19

4. Four INSTRUCTION to FOCUS…
a. FOCUS on God and His command: - “You have been careful to obey the commands of the LORD your God right up to the present day.” – Vs 3b
b. FOCUS on God’s Servants: - “He told them, “You have done as Moses, the servant of the LORD, commanded you, and you have obeyed every order I have given you.” Vs 2

5. Four INSTRUCTION to FOCUS…
c. FOCUS on Each Other: - “You have not left your brethren these many days, up to this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God.” Vs 3.
d. FOCUS on God’s Word: - “….to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul…” Vs 5-34.

6. FOCUS on God’s Word
When we hear SOMETHING! – The nine and half tribe HEARD from someone – vs 12.
Spiritual leader – Phinehas “Then the children of Israel sent Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest to…” – vs 13.
Elect Noble leaders – Family heads “and with him ten rulers, one ruler each from the chief house of every tribe of Israel; and each one was the head of the house of his father…” vs 14
Discuss the matter – Go and talk “Then they came to the children of Reuben, …. and they spoke with them, saying,” vs 15

7. Conclusion
Today, we have the ULTIMATE ALTAR – Jesus Christ, He had taken away any border or barrier between tribes, tongues, geographical locations, color or race!
ALL of us have been given FREE access into the ALTAR of God through Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ said in John 4:21-23 “Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”
