Two systems currently available to member countries iFIMS/FIMS (QAC/PNG-NFA/PNAO) National IMS (and RIMF) – FFA/SPC Some collaboration related to the two IMS ensure regional standardisation/compatibility data flows for stock assessments TUFMAN-2 development new concept building on TUFMAN strengths better data flow supports E-Reporting data receipt cloud-hosting option incorporated into the National IMS

4 National IMS – Future Plans
Gradual expansion of IMS in countries Select suitable IMS Possible to use components of two existing systems Joint SPC/FFA work plan for National IMS work (including TUFMAN-2 trials/implementation) Better REPORTING … (to satisfy regional/national obligations and requirements) Regional agencies should aim to ensure… different IMS systems will be compatible and supported, with transparent integration data confidentiality and security are maintained capacity building is fundamental
