“Near-real time” BW reporting in 2008
Similar to BW annual reporting in Reportnet At present countries use their system (countries data are not in the same format), therefore: country data must be transformed (manually) to a common format to be integrated into “working BW database” (at EEA) should be standardized in the future. (3) No status calculation will be performed on collected data during season reporting (4) ETCW will export data into prescribed format (MS Access for Sharepoint) and transfer data into SEIS system at EEA

“Near real time reporting for 2008 season” / benefits:
Same process (Reportnet, slide 1) is used file with all data for a country is authomatically prepared at the end of the season No additional work for country for annual reporting of data (downloads xls files and prepares official annual report)

“Near real time” reporting: templates (similar to annual reporting) are prepared for countries:
1.step: go to Reportnet/country folder in CDR and open folder /BWQ for SEIS/

2.step: here a template is given for BWQ 2008 SEIS reporting a template with a list of BW and empty columns for data input: ReportedDate &Parameter/Value

“Near real time” reporting:
3.step: - xls template is downloaded data inserted (into downloaded xls file) into ReportedDate &Parameter/Value columns xls file with data is stored and uploaded into the same map as a new xls 4.step: - data is downloaded by ETCW, put into the “working data base” and transfered into SEIS at EEA
