2 The Past: context to date
Previous delivery agreements between academic schools and the Careers Service existed but were inconsistent in approach, ownership, usefulness 2016: University launched a strategy for embedding employability and enterprise into the curriculum 2017: ‘Employability and Enterprise Academic Lead’ role was approved and since, 33 staff have been appointed to the role Forums held quarterly Action Plans much more dynamic and fluid

Employability role since 2012 Pros Cons/challenges Action plan: live useable document Not just a list of activities but brings together data and future plans Easier to share within School Time needed for role and action plan Tables in ppt!!! Data availability and timing Forums: community, sharing ideas, collaboration, recognition Hard to evaluate improvement/impact Role description: useful, especially to those new to it Support: joint effort with CA plus CS support

4 The Future: Embedding and Systemizing
Creating the support structures in schools. E&E planning cannot be ‘one deep’ How best to share E&E Action Plans? for awareness for strategic input and support requests Growing the Academic Lead E&E community (induction training, regular E&E forums, newsletter, MS Teams group)
