I created this Zentangle line drawing of a shell using felt tip pens, and a fine liner. I have used a variety of patterns, some of them more intricate than others, following the forms and shapes I found. I mounted my drawing onto black paper which I cut out following the outline of the shell, and pasted it onto a watercolour background which contrasted with the hard black and white pen study.
