what we have done last year Membership and committee activity 141 members fully-paid up Committee of 11 members met 5 times Co-opted Colin Davies as tree officer 4 newsletters Web-site (c 100 hits a week) Annual street cleaning with CBC Collaborating with Cheltenham Civic Society

what we have done last year Social events May 2013 – visit to Dyrham Park – 17 members July 2013 - Jazz Party – c.80 members and guests and we raised £264 for tree fund November 2013 – Wine tasting and literary quiz – 27 attendees – raised £235 for tree fund February 2014 - Pub quiz with 18 attendees - £32 raised for tree fund March 2014 – visit to The Wilson with 19 attendees

what we have done last year Reacting to planning proposals, tree works proposals etc. Weekly sets of planning proposals screened by Adrian – any comments sent to CBC Weekly sets of tree works proposals screened by Colin – any comments sent to CBC Consulted over upgrade of street lighting to LED

Seven Victorian Lamp Posts saved! We supported move to LED – less light pollution, 90% less electricity But objected to proposals to remove these 7 Victorian lamp posts – behind Jolly Brew – off Ashford Road – between Edward Street and Gratton Road – in Edward Street – Between Suffolk Street and St Philip Street – In Tudor Lodge Road – In Casino Place Thanks to Tony Brown – plans for painting
