PEER EDITING: edit, constructively criticize, and have a discussion about your paper 1st copy: Choose 2-3 areas that you want the editor to focus on (perhaps areas of concern from other writing you’ve done), or areas you want someone to provide specific, fleshed out suggestions. E.g. grammar/spelling, selection of evidence, fluidity across the paper, “so what?” statements, etc. 2nd copy: Attach the rubric, give to a classmate to read out as if they were grading it with the rubric. Where would you rank the author in each category?
