Chukotka is a reserved, little-studied and even less inhabited region. Frost, wind, and, the majestic nature, give unique attractions and local flavor

4. The journey to Chukotka begins in Anadyr, the capital of Chukotka Autonomous region. Anadyr amazes guests with its colors a fabulous city, colorful, small, cozy. Anadyr has everything for the most demanding guest: comfortable hotels, numerous restaurants, a cinema, a Museum, the world's largest wooden Orthodox Church.

7. One of the most important holidays of the Chukchi is Bagutti
One of the most important holidays of the Chukchi is Bagutti. According to tradition the feast of Pagetti began with the kindling of the festive fire using the "fire" board — symbol of hearth and home. And each family has its own. It was thought that to bring the fire with "fire" a board only relatives in the male line, otherwise the house will come to grief.

8. Chukchi used to live in camps, which are removed and updated as soon as the deer feed. In summer they go down closer to the sea. National Chukchi clothing is a comfortable and warm clothing. Men wear double fur shirt, double fur pants, also fur stockings and boots of identical material. Women's clothing also consists of two layers, only the pants and the top are sewn together. And in the summer Chukchi dress in lighter clothes-robes of reindeer suede and other bright fabrics.

The Bay of Providence is one of the most beautiful places in Chukotka with one of the best local history museums of the region, a worthy occasion to visit the Bay of Providence during his romantic journey through the harsh but beautiful peninsula. 10. Elgygytgyn-romantic lake with a cosmic past and difficult name, lost somewhere in the Chukchi steppes, is considered the most mysterious and promising attraction of the peninsula. The crater pond in Chukotka is not the first year investigated by scientists from the USA, Japan and other countries.

11. The whale alley is the most mysterious attraction of the entire Chukchi region, a giant monument of ancient eskimo culture, a reserve and a place of fantastic beauty, fascinating at first sight and forever.
