3 Introduction The Beatles are a boy band from liverpool.
The members are Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon & Ringo Starr. We shall be telling you all about … The members Three songs they wrote When they came to Ireland Where they visited We hope you enjoy it !!

4 John Lennon John Winston Ono Lennon was born on the 9th of October 1940 in Liverpool, England. His parents are Alfred Lennon & Julia Lennon. His sisters are Julia & Jackie Lennon. In 1957, he formed the Quarrymen which turned into the Beatles in 1960. Lennon began to record solo before they broke up in April 1970. Two of his songs were ‘Give peace a chance and ‘instant karma’.

5 John Lennon His children are Julian and Sean.
His genres in music are Rock, pop & experimental. The instruments he plays are Vocals, guitar, keyboard and harmonica. The bands he played in were The Quarrymen, The Beatles and Plastic Ono band . Unfortunately Lennon died in He was just 40 years old .

6 Ringo Starr Ringo was born on the 7 July 1940.
Sir Richard Starkey is his real name. He was the beatles drummer. Starr was afflicted by life-threatening illnesses during childhood, and he fell behind in school as a result of prolonged hospitalisations. Ringo replaced Pete Best in 1962. Before the beatles he was also in The Eddie Clayton Skiffle group and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. Ringo Starr is 78 years old .

7 Ringo Starr He narrated the first two seasons of Thomas and friends.
He also was in movies and hosted tv shows. He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1998.

8 Paul McCartney Sir James Paul McCartney was born on the 18th of June 1942 in Liverpool England . His songwriting partnership with John Lennon remains the most successful in history. McCartney is one of the most wealthiest musicians of all time. He’s married 3 times. He’s a father of 5 children. Jim and Mary were his parents.

9 Paul McCartney His genres are pop ,rock ,classical and electronic .
After they broke up he formed a solo career and a band called wings with his first wife Linda and Denny Laine. He is one of the most successful composers of all time.

10 George Harrison George Harrison was born in 1943,February 25th.
He has one son named Dhani Harrison. George was an English musician who achieved fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles. George turned 27 in 1970, less than 2 months before Paul McCartney told them he had no future plans with the Beatles.

11 George Harrison He was often referred to as ‘the quiet Beatle’. Then in November 29th, 2001 he sadly died from lung cancer at the age of 58.

12 Let it be Let it be was released in March 1970.
It was written and sung by Paul McCartney. It was their first single before Paul left. Paul wrote the song after his mother Mary who died of cancer when he was 14 and that’s what reference to ’mother Mary’ means.

13 Yellow submarine It was released in August 1966.
It was written by McCartney and Lennon. Ringo Starr was the lead singer in it . The genre was children’s music ,folk and pop. It was recorded in EMI Studios in London.

14 Obladi Oblada It was released on the 22nd of November 1968.
It was recorded in EMI Studios ,London. The genre was pop and ska. It was credited to Lennon and McCartney but was written solely by McCartney. It wasn’t released to the UK or USA until 1976.

15 Beatles visiting Ireland
On the 7th of November 1963 ,The Beatles came to the Adelphi Cinema in Dublin. The Beatles also played 2 concerts in northern Ireland . Lennon, McCartney & Harrison have Irish roots. The Beatles also wrote a book about visiting Ireland called ‘The Beatles and Ireland’.

16 Beatles visited san Francisco
The beatles final concert live in Candlestick park, San Francisco on the 29 August 1966 on the rooftop of the appel building. The Beatels played “Get Back”, “Don’t let me down “, “I’ve got a felling “,”One after 9092 and “Dig a pony. The Beatels had a big talk about that this had to all end.

17 Hamburg The Beatles first performance in Hamburg, they arrived in Germany hamburg in the early evening of 17 august 1960 for the first 48 nights. At Indra club on the Grosse freiheit street they performed at the venue for 48 nights ending on 3 October 1960.
