1 Cub Scout Pack 104 Arlington, VA

2 Pack 104 serves the Clarendon, Courthouse, Ashton Heights, Lyon Park, Penrose & Arlington Heights neighborhoods Our scouts attend Key, Long Branch, Patrick Henry, & St. Charles elementary schools We are hosted by the Clarendon United Methodist Church We are the longest-serving pack in Arlington (since 1937)

3 What can young boys learn from scouting?

4 Packs are divided into dens by grade:
Tiger den: 1st Grade Wolf den: 2nd Grade Bear den: 3rd Grade Webelos dens: 4th and 5th Grade Dens typically get together twice a month for advancement and other fun/educational activities The pack holds meetings ~10 times a year for advancement, recognition, and other business

5 We go camping…

6 We serve our community…
Every year Pack 104 joins with Boy Scout Troop 104 to collect canned food for donation to local charities. This past November, 2,578 lbs of canned food were collected. Four times a year, Pack 104 picks up litter on Irving St. around the Clarendon United Methodist Church. Dens have also cleaned the grounds of our elementary schools

7 We learn about teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy, fun competition…
The annual Pinewood Derby is every pack’s most exciting project, with kids (and sometimes parents) building and racing cars for pack bragging rights and a chance to compete at the District level

8 We learn about our community, history, and public service…

10 We have year-round activities to keep our scouts continually engaged
