Presentation on theme: "Be a GOOD Audience."— Presentation transcript:

1 Be a GOOD Audience

2 Five Points to Remember
Listen Be Polite Be Quiet Don’t interrupt Pay Attention

3 Listen to the presenter
They are there for a reason You are there for a reason They are probably nervous

4 Be Polite Being rude makes you look bad.
It’s not fair to the presenter. Stay Awake – Snoring is RUDE. Try to avoid making stupid faces Applaud when expected and at the end – Even if you didn’t like it.

5 Be Quiet It is rude and distracting. Others are trying to listen.
Asking a quick question to the person next to you is OK, but don’t turn it into a conversation. The larger the audience, the more important it is to be quiet.

6 Do NOT Interrupt Save Questions for the End
It will help speed up the presentation. The presenter may run out of time. It is courteous to those who want to leave asap

7 Pay Attention You are there for a reason They are probably nervous
You may be expected to pass on information from the presentation There really might be a quiz later They are probably nervous

8 In Conclusion Public speaking is not easy. Anyone brave enough to do it deserves your respect, No matter how boring. You may think you’re being funny, but your just being rude. Your actions are a reflection on you and whoever you represent. Your actions also affect others.
