We are currently collaborating with Karyn Hinder from Working Spirit WA and Carmen Rogers from RSL Queensland to seek current and previous ADF members who would like to transition to a civilian career and join the Macmahon Telfer, Tropicana or Mt Morgans teams in WA as a Dump Truck Operator. These are entry level (trainee) positions and no previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
You will be part of a small, high energy team with an opportunity to work beside the the best people in the industry, as you work towards obtaining your Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations in an environment which is challenging and rewarding,
To be considered for this position you must;
Have plenty of energy, passion and enthusiasm;
Be physically fit for the demands of the role;
Be prepared to work in remote areas and undertake shift work;
Be able to relocate to WA
Have a current Drivers Licence;
Have served, or are serving, in the ADF
The initial screening will be a short video interview and psychometric assessment. Should you be successful in this first phase, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre on Thursday 11 April in Brisbane.
Should you be successful in being offered a role, you will be required to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test, along with obtaining a National Police Clearance.
