Unit 7 – Written Business Communications
At the end of this course you will have the skills to write business documents clearly and accurately. You will be able to read and extract (use) relevant information to create documents such as: letters, s, faxes, memos, Forms, Agendas, Reports, Articles and job descriptions. What is Communication? Communication means giving and receiving information by writing, talking or using pictures. The aim of communication is to make sure that your message is understood by everyone concerned! Read section from page 3 re: Communication 27-May-19

Choosing the Means of Communication

You get a job working in and office, for example Vodafone UK you are asked to create and send different types of written communication and make sure that they are posted. Key Stages in the Communication Cycle

Extend your knowledge of language by reading Listen to what is being said Think and plan before you write/speak Use clear, simple language Consider other peoples view points Choose the correct method of communication Consider the best time for the communication Get feedback to make sure that the message was understood 27-May-19
