John Murray says: "Grace demands humility, the humility that constrains us to be debtors all along the line of salvation from its fount in election to its consummation in glory. Salvation is from the Lord, and it is only of him if it is all of him. This is the doctrine of grace and it is its glory."

Paul says in our passage: 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
