Technical Overview Open platform compatible with all medium pressure chromatography columns 10 ml/min or 100 ml/min system pumps Buffer inlet module and buffer blending module for scouting and automated buffer preparation Flexible sample loading options via sample loop (static or dynamic) and a dedicated sample pump all without the need to re-plumb the system, a C96 autosampler can also be connected to the inject valve Column switching module enables up to 5 columns be connected. Contains an internal bypass function for system priming, and reverse flow functionality for affinity chromatography elution and column cleaning Single wavelength detector (255/280nm), or multi-wavelength detector enabling the simultaneous measurement of 4 wavelengths (UV & Vis). 8 The Heart of the System - Pumps
Two versions available, 10 and 100 mL/min Buffer blending module allows for double flow and simplified buffer preparation ANYONE INTERESTED IN 100 ML/MIN PUMPS IS LIKELY INTERESTED IN BBV – 180 ML/MIN IS PREFERRED OVER 100 ML/MIN BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT REDLINING THE PUMPS – SAME FOR 18 ML/MIN ON 10 ML/MIN PUMPS

9 Inlets – Great for Automation
A buffer inlet valve provides automated buffer switching.

10 Sample Loading – Volume is Key
Volumes >10 ml use a sample loading pump with air sensor. Smaller volumes should be done with loops.

11 Column Switching Valve
Allows reverse flow CSV can also serve as a “loop multiplier” allowing for up to 5 sample loops
